Construction scope of work to be completed in 109 days included:
- Abatement and demolition of 4 existing portables
- Slab-on-grade floors
- 3-coat stucco exterior
- Standing seam metal roof
- Carpeting
- Casework and library shelving
- Low voltage and computer access systems
- Sinks and drinking fountains
- ADA compliant paths and new landscaping in adjacent courtyards
ICS assumed the responsibility of managing this project from a different construction management firm within the district, and by re-evaluating scope and site specific needs, was able to immediately save $750,000 in the budget.
